Funding Information
Grants of up to £5,000 are available to certain sectors operating within the hospitality industry.
Eligibility Criteria
• To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
o Be registered for business rates in the Somerset West and Taunton District and be in occupation of the premises (if you are currently registered and receiving Business Rates Relief you may still apply)
o Provide food and/or drink to be consumed on the premises, offering in-house food and drink services to the general public
• Operate within the following hospitality-based sectors:
o Restaurants
o Public houses/pub restaurants
o Wine bars
o Night Clubs
o Cafes
• Derive 50% or more of the business’s income from in-house services
• Have suffered losses to the business during the Covid pandemic from December 2021 onwards
• Businesses must be trading on 1 November 2021 and must intend to remain open unless Covid 19 Government guidance does not permit this.
