The Bay Future, Inc. has launched Bay County Small Business Grant Program to help reimburse businesses that were disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The $1,000,000 Bay County Small Business Grant Program leverages federal funding through Bay County’s allocation of American Rescue Plan Act funds to help reimburse businesses that were disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The grants will be administered through Bay Future, Inc., Bay County’s leading economic development organization, with a minimum 30% required to be awarded to eligible women-owned, minority-owned or veteran-owned businesses.

Eligible Use of Funding
Grants must be used to reimburse eligible businessrelated operating expenses incurred from January 1, 2022 thru April 30, 2022 in the
following categories:
- Payroll
- Rent/Mortgage Payments
- Utilities
Eligibility Criteria
- For-profit businesses with 2-50 total employees located in a brick and mortar building in Bay County that have been in operation since January 1, 2022 and can demonstrate a negative effect as a result of the COVID-19 emergency.
