COVID-19 Restaurant Relief Fund – United States

The COVID Relief Fund will accept application requests from locally owned and operated restaurants, distilleries, breweries and wineries/meaderies licensed to operate in the City of Hyattsville.

The City Council has re-appropriated funding to support regionally and locally owned full-service restaurants in the City of Hyattsville to provide $2,000 to each qualifying restaurant to be used towards rent, utilities, PPE, take out supplies, and other pandemic related overhead. National franchise or corporately operated restaurants or kiosks are not eligible to apply for funding.
Funding Information
The maximum amount of any grant shall be $2,000.
Eligibility Criteria
• The COVID Relief Fund will accept application requests from locally owned and operated restaurants, distilleries, breweries and wineries/meaderies licensed to operate in the City of Hyattsville. National franchise or corporately operated restaurants or kiosks are not eligible to apply for funding.
• Disbursements shall only be granted for immediate pandemic relief and eligibility is limited to licensed businesses operating in the municipal limits of the City of Hyattsville.
• Funds are NOT awarded for property repairs, renovation, or construction. Funds are not to be used for personal matters other than business related relief. Grants are limited to independently own and operated for-profit business not nationally dominated in its field.
• Applicants are required to provide proof of eligibility for the respective grant fund. Funds may be used for rent or mortgage, utility, equipment and machinery, employee related cost, adaptation of space to accommodate social distancing requirements, nonessential closure effects, and more.
