The European Commission (EC) is pleased to launch an open call for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Digital Business Plan 2023-2024.
Scope
- The KIC Business Plan 2023-2024, describing the activities at portfolio level aligned to the EIT Digital Strategic Agenda in the framework of the EIT Strategic Agenda 2021-2027.
Objectives
- Relevant and appropriate EIT Digital Business Plan for 2023-2024 implementation of the KIC’s multiannual strategy Strategic, demonstrating its excellence (including objectives and ambition; methodology; financial sustainability), its impact (including KIC’s pathways towards impact; measures to maximise impact – dissemination, exploitation and communication) and its quality and efficiency of the implementation (including work plan and resources at portfolio level; capacity of participants and KIC Partnership as a whole).
- to address EIT Digital’s target societal challenges and Knowledge Triangle Integration (KTI), contributing to achieving the future high-level results and impacts included in the EIT Impact Framework.
- KIC’s objectives/priorities in this Business Plan, describing its objectives using SMART criteria (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound) and why are they pertinent to the KIC Strategic Agenda.
Funding Information
The check will normally be done for the coordinator if the requested grant amount is equal to or greater than EUR 500 000, except for:
- public bodies (entities established as a public body under national law, including local, regional or national authorities) or international organisations; and
- cases where the individual requested grant amount is not more than EUR 60 000 (lowvalue grant).
Expected Impact
- In response to this topic, EIT Digital should show how the KIC could contribute to the outcomes and impacts described in the KIC Strategic Agenda and the KPIs in the EIT Impact Framework following the specific EIT Digital’s Impact Pathways, the likely scale and significance of this contribution, and the measures to maximise these impacts in the context of Horizon Europe. Each activity included in the Business Plan should contribute to at least one core EIT KPI.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for funding, applicants must be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
- the Member States of the European Union, including their outermost regions;
- the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) linked to the Member States;
- eligible non-EU countries:
- countries associated to Horizon Europe;
- low- and middle-income countries.
