The Hart District Council has announced that further funding will be made available for the Additional Restrictions Grant scheme from 1 April 2021.
The Additional Restirctions Grant is adminnistered by business rate billing authoriites in England. The ARG funding scheme aims to support businesses severely impacted by coronavirus restrictions. Funding was first made avialble in Financial Year 2020- 21 and can be used across Financial Years 2020-21 and 2021-22.
The ARG funding scheme aims to support businesses that are severely impacted by restrictions, and that may or may not be in the business rates system.
Funding Information
There are two levels – £1000 and £3000.
Eligibility Criteria
The Grant is aimed at:
• All Businesses operating from an address in the Hart District area. Businesses who are registered in the area through their accountants but not operating out of Hart will not be eligible.
• Businesses who are not in receipt of mandatory Restart Grants.
• Businesses who have applied for the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme are eligible to apply for this scheme.
• Businesses who are eligible for the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) are eligible to apply for this scheme as well.
• Only businesses which were trading on 1st April 2021 are eligible for this scheme.
• Companies that are in administration, are insolvent or where a striking-off notice has been made are not eligible for funding under this scheme.
• Businesses must also provide all of the following information to be eligible for the grant:
o Name of Business
o Business Trading Address including postcode
o Unique identifier (preferably Company Reference Number (CRN)) if applicable. If not applicable, VAT Registration Number, SelfAssessment/Partnership Number, National Insurance Number, Unique Taxpayer Reference, Registered Charity Number will also be acceptable)
o High level SIC Code
o Nature of Business
o Date business established
o Number of employees
o Business Rates Number (if applicable)
o Cumulative total of previous funding received under all COVID-19 grants schemes
