The County of LA, in partnership with LISC LA, is deploying new rounds under the Fund: Keep Our Shops on the Block: Personal Care and Retail Recovery Grant.
Funding Information
• $10,000 grants to personal care and retail businesses.
• 470 grants will be deployed.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be one of the following:
• Hair salon
• Beauty salon
• Nail salon
• Esthetician office
• Skin care office
• Electrology office
• Barbershop
• Shoe repair shop
• Dry cleaner
• Flower shop
• Party supply store
• Bookstore
• Bakery
• Donut shop
• Variety discount store
• Community grocery store/market
• Apparel or clothing store
• Automotive or appliance repair shop
• Acupuncturist
• Personalized gift store
• Video game store
• Jewelry store
• Tattoo shop
• Music store
• Accessory store
And Also:
• Based in the County of Los Angeles, excluding the City of LA
• A brick and mortar business, that is currently open and operating
• Have annual revenue under $1,000,000 (based on 2019 or 2020 tax return)
• Cannot have received a CRF-funded grant from the County of LA in 2021
• Created as of Sept 2019
If selected as a finalist, you will be asked to submit:
• 2019 or 2020 Federal Tax Return
• CA Certificate of Good Standing
• Registration of a TA meeting with a verified SBDC
• DD214, if veteran-owned entity
• Online W9 form
• Signed grant agreement
• ACH
