The Mansfield District Council is seeking applications for its Taxi Business Support Grant. A one-off grant of £750.00 for taxi drivers paid from discretionary funds (Additional Restrictions Grant fund (ARG)).
This scheme is not open to taxi drivers who do not permanently reside in the Mansfield District Council area.
Funding Information
The Mansfield District Council will award a grant of £750 per eligible licencee.
Taxation
• Grant income received by a business is taxable. The grant will need to be included as income in the tax return of the business.
• Only businesses that make an overall profit once grant income is included will be subject to tax. Unincorporated businesses will be taxed when they receive the grant income.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, a taxi driver must meet all of the following:
• has a current valid taxi driver licence
• has been working as a taxi driver since at least up to and including 1 April 2021
• lives in the Mansfield District Council area
