The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking applications for its Restart Grants scheme.
Grants are based on the sector in which the business operates and are a one-off payment available to the registered Business Ratepayer on Thursday 1 April 2021, if they were trading on that date, unless the local authority believes there to be an error. The level of grant awarded will depend on the rateable value of the relevant property.
Funding Information
Strand One – Non Essential Retail
• Properties with a rateable value of £15,000 or less will receive a one-off payment of £2,667.
• Properties with a rateable value over £15,000 but less than £51,000 will will receive a one-off payment of £4,000.
• Properties with a rateable value of £51,000 or over will receive a one-off payment of £6,000.
Strand Two – Hospitality, Leisure, Accommodation, Gym & Sports, Personal Care businesses
• Properties with a rateable value of £15,000 or less will receive a one-off payment of £8,000.
• Properties with a rateable value over £15,000 but less than £51,000 will will receive a one-off payment of £12,000.
• Properties with a rateable value of £51,000 or over will receive a one-off payment of £18,000.
Grants are not available to businesses: that are in administration, insolvent or subject to a striking-off notice.
