The first National Competition of Entrepreneurs, based on the GERME methodology with training in GIN and PIN, created with the objective of developing opportunities for entrepreneurship and employability with the young Cape Verdean.
This contest was born from a scenario based on the belief that it is essential to fill the void of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, building bridges between its various actors, Civil Society, Universities, Investors, Entrepreneurs and offering young people, aged between 18 and 35 years the opportunity to improve their knowledge on how to create and manage a company in the best way through monitoring and competition.
Goals
• Contribute to the sustainable development of the country, promoting entrepreneurship among young people;
• Giving visibility to young entrepreneurs' initiatives and transmitting positive values from the company's world;
• Encourage empowerment and a change in mentality in at least 300 young people;
• Attract greater attention from potential investors to the new ideas of young people in Cape Verde;
• Develop opportunities for young people to undertake and enter the entrepreneurial ecosystem through the tools that the contest will provide.

Target Audience
• Have a Professional or Higher Education;
• Being a promoter of an emerging business or company idea;
• Be between 18 and 35 years old;
• Be available and able to participate in the Startup Challenge III;
• Willing to start and / or diversify their own businesses in Cape Verde within 2 months after the end of the 3rd Edition of the Startup Challenge;
• In projects that have foreigners, at least 20% of the share capital will have to be or come to be held by a Cape Verdean;
• 10% of applications from women will not require a Professional or Higher Education.

• Financial Education – a program that aims to train and provide trainees with tools to better plan and plan their financial resources, as well as to identify the best forms and sources of financing for their projects;
