Kwapreneurs is seeking applications for its Kwara Entrepreneur Support Programme to enable young Kwara entrepreneurs to turn their business ideas into full-fledged business models ready for investment.
Kwapreneurs is an empowerment and development programme for Kwara-based Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises focused on enabling innovative business models and ideas to succeed.
The Kwara State Government through the Kwara State Social Investment Programmes will be offering 300 MSMEs in Kwara, free Digital and Capacity Building Training and offer interest-free loans of up to N3,000,000.
The Kwapreneurs programme aims to target early-stage and idea-stage startups and transform them into full-fledged business models ready for investment. 300 startups based in Kwara will undergo two (2) weeks of digital training, capacity building and advisory services to maximize inclusion and support MSMEs businesses owned and run by Kwarans. The programme's objective is to encourage innovation and job creation through the establishment of new businesses and the expansion of existing businesses in Kwara State.
Kwapreneurs Programmme Impact
• 2-Day Financial Workshop: Selected MSMEs get to learn the requisite knowledge that will enable them to carry out and improve their business management.
• Makeathon Pitch Session: Semi-finalists will have the opportunity to present their products to a team of judges, who will select 15 finalists for the most innovative business/idea prizes (Gold, Silver and Bronze).
• 2-week Accelerator bootcamp: The Accelerator bootcamp takes all 300 selected participants through an immersive intervention that will enable them to scale rapidly and improve their business management.
• Seed Capital: 300 Selected participants that have completed the Acceleration bootcamp get to receive seed funding of up to N3,000,000 interest free-loan.
