Applications are being accepted now for the City of Hollywood’s FastTrac® Start-Up Program, designed to guide aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs on the path to success.
As a Kauffman FastTrac® affiliate, the City hosts the FastTrac® Start-Up Program to help entrepreneurs refine their business concept, identify the components of a strong business plan, and access the appropriate resources for launch.
As a FastTrac® participant, you will examine all aspects of your proposed company. You will explore the feasibility of your business concept and learn how to develop a viable business plan. Participants will address start-up issues such as assessing the competition, dealing with legal matters, marketing and financial management.
FastTrac® Start-Up Program
Participants will develop a clear business concept and learn how to:
• Identify market needs
• Explore risk and success factors
• Build a solid business plan
• Create an elevator pitch
• Understand business fundamentals
• Network with entrepreneur professionals
• Access business, financial and human resources
All participants will receive a certificate of completion and the top three business plans may be eligible to compete for seed money grants through a pitch competition.
