The Wandsworth Council is seeking applications for its Restart Grant – National Scheme (Statutory).
One-off grants of up to £6,000 will be paid to non-essential retail business premises and one-off grants of up to £18,000 will be paid to hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym business premises.
Funding Information
For non-essential retail businesses –
• Rateable value of exactly £15,000 or under – one-off payment of £2,667
• Rateable value over £15,000 and less than £51,000 – one-off payment of £4,000
• Rateable value of exactly £51,000 or above – one-off payment of £6,000
For hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym businesses –
• Rateable value of exactly £15,000 or under – one-off payment of £8,000
• Rateable value over £15,000 and less than £51,000 – one-off payment of £12,000
• Rateable value of exactly £51,000 or above – one-off payment of £18,000
Eligible Businesses
All businesses with a business rates liability on 1 April 2021 that predominantly deliver in-person services for the general public – e.g. Non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure and personal care (gyms, hair, nail and beauty salons).
