The INDIMEJ Action project for the economic and social inclusion of young people and women in Tunisia is a project Co-funded by the Italian Ministry of the Interior – CUP F56J20000170008 set up by the Italian NGO CIES through its headquarters in Tunisia and in partnership with UTSS (Tunisian Union of Social Solidarity) (Tunis) aiming to help fight against the root causes of migration while promoting socio-economic development in Tunisia.
The Indimej project offers the carriers of innovative project ideas in the green, blue and circular economy an opportunity to access a training, support and coaching course in order to realize their entrepreneurial ambitions. INDIMEJ aims to launch and support 27 innovative start-ups that are part of the green, blue and circular economy.
The project provides selected candidates, in partnership with its partners, through its training program in the creation of innovative start-ups:
• An ideation session.
• A session on pitching techniques.
• Technical training on the green, blue, circular economy and SSE.
• Personalized support in the design and development of a business model for their idea (BMC).
• Theoretical training in business creation.
• Personalized support in drafting the Business Plan.
• Personalized tutoring: local support in the start-up phase of constitution.
• Post-creation mentoring sessions.
• A financing opportunity up to 4000 euros.
• Specialized technical training grants (Vauchers).
Intervention Areas
• Greater Tunis:
o The municipalities of Jdaida (Gov. La Manouba), Mhamedia (Gov. De Ben Arous), Raoued (Gov. De Ariana).
• Nabeul:
o The municipalities of Nabeul, Menzel Bouzelfa, Takelsa.
• Bizerte:
o The municipalities of Bizerte, El Alia, Ras Djebel.
Eligibility Criteria
The call for applications is only open to people:
• Supporting an idea for an innovative green or blue start-up or in the circular economy.
• Aged between 18 and 34 for young men and no age limit for women.
• Tunisian nationalities residing in one of the target governorates.
• Belonging to one of the partner municipalities of the project is an asset.
NB: the ideas of commercial micro-enterprises will not be accepted.
