Applications are now open for the Starter Business Acceleration Program 2021 to connect participants with different business units and technology experts from EDP and EDP Renewables in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, and the USA.
Startups participating in the program will be able to attend to the Global Module, exposing the most innovative startups to deal opportunities, in a direct and personal connection with the EDP partners.

Eligibility Criteria
• The Program is open to individuals, teams of individuals and companies, partnerships and other similar entities.
• Companies, entrepreneurs and startups from across the globe are encouraged to apply. The program will be working in fully remote experience.
• Companies, entrepreneurs and startups from across the globe that are prepared to develop their products and services in collaboration with EDP for the benefit of their customers and consumers.
• They want to open applications to the program as widely as possible, so they have only a few eligibility criteria. You (and, if you are applying as part of a team, each member of your team):
o must be at least 18 years of age;
o must not be an employee of the Program Managers or Promoters;
o involved in the Program selection process, a Program mentor;
o or otherwise involved in the design, delivery or promotion of the Program (or a member of any such person's immediate family or household).
• They welcome international applicants, but please be aware that if you are applying from outside of participating countries, you will be responsible for complying with any immigration (e.g. visa) requirements and any travel costs involved in participating in the application process or the Program itself.
• You are welcome to submit or be involved in multiple applications (for example as an individual and as part of a team), provided that each application should be substantially different from each other. If they consider that two or more applications that you are involved in are too similar they may ask you to choose one of those applications to proceed with.
