DigitalBIZ Project, implemented by United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP BIH), announces the launch of a public call for participation in establishing and strengthening business, resource, and advisory centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The public call is open to all legal entities supporting or intending to support the digital transformation of micro, small and medium enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

DigitalBIZ project envisages support to institutional partners, companies and other relevant stakeholders in using digital economy to increase the productivity of existing economic sectors, growing new markets, as well as accelerating the overall economic growth. In addition to the inclusion and capacity strengthening of relevant stakeholders in accelerating the transformation towards digital economy, project will also provide financial support to micro, small and medium size enterprises to digitally transform of their businesses.

The aim of the public call is to select 10 legal entities (institutions, organizations, companies) to participate in the activities of creating and strengthening business, resource and advisory centers. Public call is open to: chambers of commerce, development agencies, technology parks, incubators, accelerators, innovation and research centers, technical and economic faculties’ competence centers, industrial associations and clusters representing companies and all similar legal entities.

The public call is intended for all legal entities that provide or intend to provide support for digital transformation of micro, small and medium enterprises on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Applicants can be chambers of commerce, development agencies, technology parks, incubators, accelerators, innovation and research centers, competence centers at the faculties of technical and economic directions, clusters and industry associations that represent companies and similar legal entities.

Eligibility Criteria
A public call for participation in the project is open to all business development service providers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including:
• Business development service providers registered as legal entities,
• Business incubators, accelerators and technology parks that support incubation and business company growth,
• Competence centers at the faculties of technical and economic fields, research centers and similar organizations,
• Chambers, clusters, development agencies and industry associations representing companies from private and public sector.
The selection of partner service providers for business development will be based on the following criteria:
• Basic (eliminatory) criteria applied in the selection of 10 business development service providers:
o The applicant must be a registered legal entity (institution, organization) to provide Business development service – proof Registration decision
o The applicant must have at least one full-time employee – proof of the Insured List Persons for the taxpayer or the Tax Certificate of Employees issued by the competent Tax Administration
• Qualitative criteria:
o Motivation and potential of the applicant,
o Resources and sustainability of the applicant,
o The applicant's experience.
