• Each entrant who submitted the Essay for each of the five (5) Finalists (the “Representative”), must attend the Virtual 1010 WINS Small Business Grant Challenge Event (the “Event”) to be held on June 3, 2021 from 4:00pm (ET) until approximately 6:45pm (ET) on a video call via Streamyard.com in order to claim the Finalist Prize and be eligible to win the Grand Prize. o The Station will contact each Representative prior to the Event to provide instructions to access and participate in the Event. Each Representative will be required, as applicable, to access Streamyard on their cell phone, laptop, desktop, or tablet in order to participate in the Event. The Station is not responsible for the failure of a Representative to access the Event via Streamyard due to technical or other reasons. o Starting at approximately on June 3, 2021, each Representative will have an opportunity to provide a two (2) minute “elevator pitch” followed by approximately three and one half (3½) minutes of questioning from a judging panel made up of three (3) judges determined by the Station (the “Judging Panel”).
o After all Representatives have given their pitches and answered the Judging Panel’s questions, one (1) Grand Prize winning Eligible Business will be selected from among the Finalist Prize Winners. The determination will be by the Judging Panel who shall base their decision on the overall pitch, value proposition, passion, and execution of the pitches, responses to questions, the worthiness of the use to be made of the $10,000.00 prize, and any other lawful criteria. The potential Grand Prize winning Eligible Business will be announced at the conclusion of the Event.
o The Event, including each Representative’s participation in the Event, may be broadcast on the Station or other radio stations, streamed via the Internet or via one or more social media platforms, and/or recorded by the Station and played back in portions or in its entirety on-air, on the Station’s or any of the Sponsors’ websites, and/or on the Station’s or Sponsors’ social media pages at a later date. By participating in the Event, the Representatives consent to the Station’s use and distribution of the Event as provided herein and in the Station’s general contest rules. Representatives who engage in any inappropriate activity or behavior during the Event, as the Station may determine at its sole discretion, subjectively or otherwise, including without limitation activities or behavior that (i) is indecent, profane, obscene, explicitly sexual, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, libelous, or hateful, (ii) is racially, ethnically, or otherwise offensive or objectionable, or (iii) encourages unlawful behavior, may be removed from the Event and/or disqualified from the Contest, with or without notice.
