Start-Up Chile (SUP) is a business accelerator created by the Government of Chile to bring a high level of entrepreneurship based on innovation sustained in Chile.
Currently, Start-Up Chile is the leading accelerator in Latin America, among the TOP 10 globally and has the largest and most diverse startup community in the world. Start-Up Chile changed the vision of entrepreneurship on a global level, after its creation, around 50 countries created similar programs.
Since 2016, the new objectives of Start-Up Chile are to maintain Chile as one of the most important centers of technological entrepreneurship and innovation in the world and that our startups positively impact the local economy.
Programs
• Pre-Acceleration Program
o Program for early stage startups
o At least 50% led by women.
o From an early stage prototype to a validated MVP.
o 4 month program
o 2 generations a year. Up to 50 startups per generation
o Free financing of equity participation of $ 10,000,000 pesos (Approx. $ 14K USD).
o Possibility of winning an extension of $ 5,000,000 (Approx $ 6.5K USD).
• Acceleration Program
o Program for startups with a functional product and early validation.
o From a functional product to a product-market fit.
o 4 month program.
o 2 generations per year. Up to 30 startups per generation.
o Participation-free financing of $ 25,000,000 pesos (Approx $ 35K USD).
o Possibility of winning an extension of $ 25,000,000 pesos (Approx $ 35K USD).
• Climbing Program
o Expansion program for consolidated companies
o Startups in expansion stage
o 12 month program
o 2 generations per year. Between 10 and 15 companies per generation.
o Participation-free financing of $75,000,000 pesos (Approx $ 100K USD).

o SUP Academy: Training program (Classes, workshops, talks and other learning experiences).
