Visible Hands is a 14-week, full-time, virtual-first fellowship program designed to support underrepresented talent in finding their co-founding teams and building technology startups from scratch.
Through this fellowship, Visible Hands provides investments of up to $200k, company building-services, and access to a national network of industry experts, founders, and investors.
Who is Visible Hands for?
• Your gender and/or racial identity is underrepresented in tech. This includes – but isn't limited to – women, non-binary and trans people, and Black, Latinx, and Indigenous American people.
• You are ready to launch a high-growth technology startup.
• You are early along in company-building: you may be floating ideas around, looking for co-founders, or working on an early prototype.
• You are willing to commit full-time for the entirety of the program.
At Visible Hands, they bring together ambitious and talented individuals to build venture-backed technology companies.
• Actionable Skills & Insights
o You have a strong skillset or deep insights that give you a competitive advantage in building and distributing a solution.

o You are eager to collaborate and learn from others in the cohort and the broader Visible Hands community.
Criteria
• You are eligible to apply if you fulfill all of the following criteria:
• You identify as one (or more) of the following underrepresented gender and racial/ethnic identities:
o Female, nonbinary, genderqueer, or gender non-conforming
o Black or African American
o Hispanic or Latino/a
o Indigenous American, American Indian, or Alaska Native
• You are 18+ years old at the beginning of the fellowship.
• You can commit to full-time participation throughout the fellowship.
• You have proficient English fluency.
• You are early along in company-building: you might be floating ideas around, looking for co-founders, or working on an early prototype.
• At this time, they are unable to provide U.S. work permits for any foreign nationals so they can only accept applicants who will not require sponsorship for American work authorization to participate in this fellowship.
Selection Process
The selection process is designed to find exceptional individuals who can succeed in the program and beyond. All fellows will receive individual upfront investments of $25k, and receive the opportunity for additional investment of up to $175k at the conclusion of the fellowship. The process spans about six weeks from when applications close.
