The SPP Accelerator is a learning and coaching program to source and develop promising projects designed to improve education, learning, and development using data.
The Increasing Impact in Education and Learning Challenge will support people who can articulate solutions to problems in learning and education, from enhancing brain development in young children, to educating people of all ages, to upskilling workers.
They are seeking powerful projects to enhance education and learning.
All participants receive #solvingpublicproblems coaching to take solutions from idea to implementation.
The SPP Accelerator includes:
Challenge Competition. The competition will source the most promising projects designed to improve education, learning, and development.
Online Coaching. Applicants, semifinalists, and finalists all receive help to develop impactful proposals. Optional coaching includes training both in using data to tackle challenges and creating implementable projects.
In-Person Training. Winners receive an all-expense paid, multi-day, in-person coaching program in Bellagio, Italy to get intensive expert mentoring and peer learning and ongoing support to realize your projects in practice.

The SPP Accelerator is a global opportunity with a strong interest in having significant representation from the Global Majority.

Nominations are now open for the Western Australia Innovater of the Year to acknowledge and reward exceptional innovators in Western Australia who have developed an outstanding innovative product, technology or service, which is at the emerging innovation or growth phase of development.

Applications funded under the WA IOTY program will target market problems and realise opportunities of importance to Western Australia. The City of San José is providing grant funding of up to $15,000 to support small businesses with outstanding rent and utility debts related to Covid-19.
The City of San José has set aside $2.75 million in federal American Rescue Plan Act funds to provide up to 300 grants to small businesses, companies, or enterprises (used interchangeably) located in San José. The maximum grant is $15,000. The purpose is to provide a grant towards the small business owner’s outstanding rent and utility debt arising from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic from March 24, 2020, through August 19, 2021.
Funding Information
The maximum grant cannot exceed $15,000. Grants will be allocated based on annual gross revenue as follows:

- Grant Amount – $5,000
