Aqua for All is looking for market-oriented, early-stage water and sanitation small and medium enterprises in Ethiopia that want to boost their potential through its ‘Water and Sanitation Incubation Programme’.
The Water and Sanitation Incubation Programme is organised in partnership with Iceaddis , the first innovation and co-creation centre in Ethiopia.
Besides providing training and coaching, the incubation programme will prepare participants to apply for Aqua for All funding.
Innovations, scalable solutions and capital are instrumental to bridge the current service delivery and financial gaps in the water and sanitation economy. Aqua for All fills these gaps by supporting innovations and enabling business solutions to become financially sustainable and investment-ready.
Do you have an idea that:
• Is innovative and new to the Ethiopian water and sanitation sector;
• Addresses a clearly defined need that will benefit vulnerable groups;
• Is market-based and result-oriented;
• Can be implemented in a real-life situation;
• Is not stand-alone, but has an integrated approach (includes governance, sustainable management, gender, marketing, etc.);
• Has potential to grow in the long term?
The programme will start in July 2021 (dates to be confirmed). It will be provided in a hybrid form (physical and online) and primarily in Amharic.
